Last night, I attend my first Tweet-up for #indiechat. It was full of fellow indie writers who were engaged, knowledgeable and very willing to share with the group. This was especially important to me since I am still such a newbie. I was completely blown away by the amount of valuable information that was coming at me fast and furiously:
While I am not happy that I actually tweeted the phrase “OMG”, I was quite caught up in the moment as great information was coming at me from all directions. We discussed things like marketing plans, self-publishing statistics, using free promos as a sales tool, using brand names in fiction and many other great topics. There were also dozens of links to more information and resources for self publishers. You can check out the twit stream for here.
