I am very excited to show off the new book trailer for my first novel, ON TENTERHOOKS. I created the trailer myself (using the iLife suite) but all of the credit for making it so spectacular goes to some other folks.

Poets of the Fall is a Finnish rock band who have an amazing depth and range of themes and musical prowess. While writing ON TENTERHOOKS, I discovered and became a huge fan of the band. I found that much of their imagery and the attitude of their music and lyrics made their work a wildly complimentary companion for my words.
I used one of their older songs, Carnival of Rust (with permission), as a backdrop for the book trailer because I loved the way it mirrored my story. It begins softly, acoustic guitar and muted strings and then builds into a pounding, rich orchestration. And the chorus was dead on in its imagery: “…’cause without your love my life ain’t nothin’ but this carnival of rust.” If you are looking for something fresh AND substantive, I highly recommend them.
